Ericsson's (ERIC) wholly-owned subsidiary Vonage unveiled Tuesday an expanded collaboration with Germany's SAP, a provider of enterprise resource planning.

The collaboration aims to integrate "intelligent, next-generation" applications into existing workflows and systems by combining Vonage's communications and network application programming interfaces, SAP business technology platform, and SAP business artificial intelligence.

Another aim of the partnership is "revolutionizing" how businesses use AI and network APIs to enhance operations and customer experiences.
