Sales of SK Hynix's (KRX:000660) US unit SK Hynix America more than doubled in 2024 to 33.49 trillion won, fueled by strong demand for high-bandwidth memory (HBM), Pulse News reported Wednesday.

The US contributed 58%, or 27.31 trillion won, of its total 46.43 trillion won sales as of the third quarter of 2024. HBM sales are expected to more than double this year as US tech giants ramp up AI-driven demand, the report said.
