Meeka Metals (ASX:MEK) struck shallow high-grade gold on the western side of Turnberry South at its flagship Murchison project in Western Australia, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
Assays returned up to 21 meters at 5.1 grams per tonne grade of gold from 51 meters, including 5 meters at 15.7 grams per tonne grade of gold.
A reverse-circulation drilling program is ongoing, the filing said.
