MedicalSystem Biotechnology (SHE:300439) won an equity dispute case after a court ordered a shareholder to pay 143,976 yuan to the company, according to a Shenzhen Stock Exchange disclosure on Saturday.
Yao Danhua, a shareholder of the company's wholly-owned subsidiary Hangzhou Yitian Biotechnology, was ordered to pay the amount due to failure to perform obligations in an equity transfer deal.
The case was filed in 2021 at the Ningbo Intermediate People's Court of China's Zhejiang Province, the in vitro diagnostic product manufacturer said.
The company's shares rose 1% in recent trade.
