Sunny Optical Technology (Group) (HKG:2382) recorded a 6.9% decline in the shipment volume of its handset lens sets to 97.2 million units in February from a year prior, according to a Monday bourse filing.

Shipments of handset camera modules also plunged 32.1% year over year to 35.4 million units.

Vehicle lens set shipments, on the other hand, rose by 12.9% during the reporting month to 8.8 million units.

Shares of the company closed over 2% lower on Monday.
