Palantir Technologies (PLTR) and Voyager Technologies are developing artificial intelligence-powered solutions for the proactive mitigation of potential collisions and threats.
The open-architecture space domain awareness system pulls data from existing on-orbit assets using Voyager's VPX signal processing electronics and chassis, signals intelligence software, mission services capabilities and Palantir's AI/Machine-Learning engines, Voyager said Monday.
The two companies aim to rapidly transition the system from TRL4, or laboratory verification, to TRL8, qualified with proof of functionality in the operational environment, as a hosted payload in 2026, Voyager said.
