March 11 - (The Insurer) - CRC Group has hired Matthew Zelenc, former senior vice president at RT Specialty, as senior vice president and senior broker within CRC Specialty's ExecPro and healthcare practice groups.
Zelenc will report to CRC's Chicago office while spearheading the launch of the company's new Kansas City location. In his new role, he will focus on management and professional lines of coverage with an emphasis on healthcare services, private company management liability, cyber liability and other professional lines.
He has over 20 years of experience in the industry. Before his 11-year tenure at RT Specialty, the wholesale brokerage arm of Ryan Specialty, Zelenc held roles as a broker at Westrope and an underwriting consultant at CNA Insurance. He began his career as a marketing executive at CRC Insurance Services.
CRC Specialty president Mike Brennan said: "With (Zelenc) on board, we continue strengthening our position as the go-to destination for the insurance industry's top talent, especially with our expanded presence in Kansas City."
