Pertamina Crude Oil Corruption: AGO Interrogates Four Officials

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) continues to develop the alleged corruption case in the management of crude oil and refinery products at PT Pertamina by interrogating four PT Pertamina officials on Monday, March 10, 2025. The four witnesses questioned by investigators are MM as Manager Quality System & Knowledge Management PT Kilang Minyak Internasional, IPG as VP PSO Management at the Finance Directorate of PT Pertamina, AEU as Manager Contract & Settlement PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, and VY as Senior Expert Trader at the Marketing Directorate of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga for the period of 2021-2023.

"The examination of witnesses is carried out to strengthen evidence and complete the case files in the said case," said Head of the Legal Information Center of AGO Harli Siregar in his official statement on Monday, March 10, 2025.

Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) of the AGO is currently investigating alleged corruption in the management of crude oil and refinery products at PT Pertamina (Persero), Sub-Holding, and Contractors under the Cooperation Contract (KKKS) from 2018 to 2023.

In this case, the AGO has named nine suspects, six of whom are officials of Pertamina's subsidiaries. They are President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Riva Siahaan (RS); President Director of PT Pertamina International Shipping Yoki Firnandi (YF); Director of Feedstock and Product Optimization at PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional Sani Dinar Saifuddin (SDS). Then, VP Feedstock Management of PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional Agus Purwono (AP); Director of Marketing at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Maya Kusmaya (MK); and VP Trading Operation at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Edward Corne (EC).

Meanwhile, three brokers have become suspects, namely Muhammad Kerry Adrianto Riza (MKAR) as the beneficial owner of PT Navigator Khatulistiwa; Dimas Werhaspati (DW) as Commissioner of PT Navigator Khatulistiwa and also Commissioner of PT Jenggala Maritim; and Gading Ramadhan Joedo (GRJ) as Commissioner of PT Jenggala Maritim and President Director of PT Orbit Terminal Merak.

The AGO estimates that the state's loss in the Pertamina corruption case has reached Rp 193.7 trillion. The suspects are charged with violating Article 2 paragraph (1) or Article 3 of Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning the Eradication of Corruption.
