Heavy Rare Earths (ASX:HRE) said it is focusing on planning for and early execution of its field program at its uranium projects in South Australia and Western Australia, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
It plans to generate first-pass drilling targets on all projects during the second half of the year to the first half of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals, the filing said.
It said geophysical surveys targeting uranium-bearing paleochannels on its Billeroo and Prospect Hill projects in South Australia are nearing completion.
It also engaged a contractor to fly a detailed magnetic-radiometric survey over the projected extension of the line of lode at the Radium Hill project, also in South Australia, later this month.
It is also in the process of engaging a geological consultant to compile all historic exploration data from the project.
The mining firm's shares fell 8% on market close on Tuesday.
