Diversified Energy (DEC) said Friday it completed the previously announced acquisition of Maverick Natural Resources.
As part of this transaction, the company issued 21.19 million new common shares, which will be listed on the New York Stock Exchange and have the same rights as existing shares, the company said.
Following the completion of the acquisition, Rick Gideon, previously CEO of Maverick Natural Resources, will become Diversified's chief operating officer, effective March 18.
Diversified had nearly 81 million ordinary shares outstanding as of March 14, with each share carrying one vote, according to the company.
