Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) said Thursday its Mission Technologies division has been awarded a $182 million task order to provide logistics support for US Air Force F-16 pilot training devices.

Huntington Ingalls and subcontractor Trident Military Systems will provide engineering maintenance under a five-year task order for the US Air Force's Mission Tactics Trainer Training System Support Center, which supports F-16 simulators used by the Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve, and Navy.

The work, primarily based in Mesa, Arizona, aligns with the company's existing training and simulation contracts, including F-15 pilot training under Distributed Mission Operations, the Air National Guard's Distributed Training Operations Center, and the Mobility Air Forces, Huntington Ingalls said.

Shares of Huntington Ingalls were up nearly 3% in recent trading.
