Copa (CPA) said Thursday its preliminary February passenger traffic, measured as revenue passenger miles, rose 2.3% from a year earlier.

The preliminary data also showed that capacity, measured as available seat miles, rose 1.7% from a year earlier.

The system load factor was 86.7%, up from 86.3% a year earlier.

The company's shares were down more than 2% in recent Friday premarket activity.
