Diatreme Resources (ASX:DRX) will incorporate 2024 drilling results for an updated mineral resource estimate at the Si2 deposit at its Northern silica project in Queensland, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

On the completion of a mineral resource estimate update in the second quarter and bulk metallurgical test work, Diatreme will focus on delivering maiden ore reserves and the next phase of the feasibility study for the project.

The 2024 drilling program was completed with 3,420 meters of air core drilling across 154 holes.

Its shares rose 5% in recent trading on Thursday.
