Willdan Group (WLDN) said Thursday it was selected for a $17.7 million contract to oversee engineering and construction of solar and electric vehicle charging infrastructure for the Paramount Unified School District in California.
The company said the project includes 2.2 megawatts of solar arrays and 44 level 2 charging stations at 11 locations.
Willdan said the installation is expected to offset more than 1,100 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year.
