GPT Group (ASX:GPT) will manage the Sunshine Plaza in Queensland and Macarthur Square in Sydney starting in May, taking over from Lendlease Group (ASX:LLC), multiple media outlets reported Tuesday.

While the malls remain part of Lendlease's APPF Retail fund, GPT will handle management and secure valuable fees and revenue, the reports said.

APPF Retail will retain management of the Erina Fair regional center and the Tweed City shopping center in New South Wales, the reports added.
