Chemours (CC) and Energy Fuels (UUUU) said Tuesday they are establishing a strategic partnership to expand their existing relationship to "enhance" US rare earth and critical mineral supply chains.
Energy Fuels is developing new heavy mineral sands projects in Madagascar, Brazil, and Australia, while Chemours mines and separates heavy mineral sands from its operations in Florida and Georgia.
Energy Fuels' shares were up 1.4% in recent premarket activity, while Chemours fell 0.3%.
