1101 ET - Alimentation Couche-Tard likely won't raise its offer price 7-Eleven operator Seven & I as things stand, according to BMO Capital Markets in a report. The Canadian convenience store operator says it will remain friendly and persistent in its pursuit of Seven & I, but this may not include a higher offer. Analyst Tamy Chen believes "it is unlikely that ATD raises its offer price unless further diligence reveals more areas for value creation." In the meantime, Couche-Tard indicated it "is evaluating other M&A opportunities beyond Seven and believes this is the appropriate course of action given the ultimate outcome of Seven is unknown," Chen says.(adriano.marchese@wsj.com)
