BlockBeats News, March 18th, Last week's Based Rollup Summit at EthSan Francisco brought many key insights to the industry. The event, hosted by Taiko, focused on Rollup-based technological innovation and featured industry heavyweights such as Vitalik Buterin, Tomasz Stańczak from Nethermind, and Professor Dan Boneh from Stanford University.
In the "Verifiable Proofs for AI" panel discussion, Professor Boneh shared insights on zero-knowledge encryption technology and how its development will profoundly impact our interaction with artificial intelligence in the future. Vitalik, Tomasz, and Taiko's CTO Brecht Devos participated in a roundtable discussion about the future of Ethereum. Tomasz and Brecht revealed that Ethereum users can expect the preconfirmation feature to go live, with the most optimistic timeline possibly being around a month.
In a small group discussion on Ethereum's future development, Vitalik once again emphasized Ethereum's core goal: "I personally believe that Ethereum's goal has never been unclear, it has always been very clear, but I am willing to reiterate. Ethereum's goal is to attract a large number of users, especially to have them truly benefit from the characteristics of openness, censorship resistance, and security."
Furthermore, he outlined an optimistic vision for Ethereum's development, aiming to improve past ICOs, DAOs, RAWs, and social layers, minimizing their drawbacks to the fullest extent. Vitalik stated, "Let's push forward with all these innovations, let Ethereum carry it all, and make it a reality by leveraging teams like Taiko to bring in capabilities of 10,000 transactions per second (TPS)."
