Anthropic, the AI startup backed by Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN), is doubling down on enterprise clients with new AI tools aimed at making work easier, Financial Times reported.
The company, best known for its Claude models, wants to help professionals buried in meetings, emails, and endless paperwork. Leading the charge is Mike Krieger, co-founder of Instagram and now Anthropic's Chief Product Officer. His goal? To create AI that cuts through the clutter, so workers can spend less time prepping and more time getting things done.
One standout feature is an AI assistant that scans calendars and company data to pull together detailed client reports before meetingsno more last-minute scrambling. Anthropic is also teaming up with Amazon and ElevenLabs to build voice-driven AI assistants designed for real-time interactions, aiming to be the Siri that actually works for professionals.
With this move, Anthropic is taking on big players like Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT), OpenAI, and Google (NASDAQ:GOOG), all racing to dominate AI-powered business tools. But instead of just chasing features, Anthropic is betting on privacy, security, and a more personalized experience to stand out.
