Dakota Gold shares fell after the company priced its stock offering.
The stock declined 13% to $2.67 in pre-market trading Friday. Shares have gained 42% over the past three months.
The Lead, S.D., gold exploration-and-development company said late Thursday it would publicly offer 12.4 million shares for about $35 million in gross proceeds. That is equivalent to about $2.82 a share.
The offering is expected to close Monday.
Dakota Gold is also offering underwriters the option to purchase about another 1.9 million shares, representing up to 15% of the number of shares to be sold in the offering.
