Nokia (NOK) and Honeywell International's (HON) Honeywell Aerospace Technologies unit said Monday they have partnered with Numana to advance Quantum-Safe Networks in Montreal, Canada, and globally.
The partnership aims to support the adoption of secure networking solutions for businesses and service providers, the companies said.
Nokia will provide post-quantum networking technology, including IP routers, high-capacity optical transport, and quantum-safe cryptographic solutions, backed by real-world deployments. Nokia also plans to use the testbed for development and testing.
Honeywell Aerospace Technologies will supply quantum-secure encryption keys for secure data transmission between space-based and terrestrial networks, Honeywell said.
Numana will manage the testbed's deployment and operations, making it available for technology development projects, Numana President and CEO Francois Borrelli said.
