Meituan (HKG:3690) recorded a 181% boost in profit for the three months ended Dec. 31, 2024, to 6.22 billion yuan from 2.22 billion yuan in the year-ago period, a Friday filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.
The food delivery giant's revenue for the quarter rose by 20% to 88.5 billion yuan from 73.7 billion yuan a year prior.
For the full year 2024, attributable profit rose to 35.8 billion yuan from 13.9 billion yuan in 2023. Earnings per share increased to 5.66 yuan from 2.11 yuan previously.
Revenue for the year also hiked 22% to 337.6 billion yuan from 276.7 billion yuan in the year-ago period.
