Barton Gold Holdings (ASX:BGD) identified further near-surface mineralization grading within the Tarcoola project's new Tolmer prospect in South Australia, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The mineral explorer struck up to 17,600 grams per tonne grade of silver, indicating the potential for new styles of high-grade mineralization at the prospect, per the filing.
In the coming weeks, Barton Gold expects to receive assay results from the reverse circulation drilling program conducted last February, the filing stated.
Barton Gold's shares were up nearly 2% in recent trade.
