BOE Varitronix's (HKG:0710) profit attributable to shareholders in 2024 dropped 18% year on year to HK$391.3 million or HK$0.50 per share from HK$475.3 million or HK$0.60 per share, according to a Hong Kong Stock Exchange filing on Wednesday.

The liquid crystal display manufacturer's revenue climbed 25% to HK$13.4 billion from HK$10.8 billion in the previous year, the filing said.

The board of directors recommended a final dividend of HK$0.17 per share to be paid on July 18 to shareholders registered by July 11.

The company's shares slumped 7% at the close.
