Develop Global (ASX:DVP) signaled confidence in its ties with Bellevue Gold (ASX:BGL) amid rumors about the latter's future output, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company said its relationship with Bellevue is "very strong in all areas and the [cooperation] at the operational level is achieving record mine physicals." Develop Global's mining unit is under contract with Bellevue Gold until the end of the year, with an option for a 12-month extension.
The statement follows Bellevue's trading halt request on Wednesday, pending the release of a disclosure. A report by Capital Brief on the same day said the miner would release production guidance before the start of trading on Friday.
Develop Global's shares were up nearly 2% in recent trade.
