Spire Global named Alison Engel as its next chief financial officer, effective April 1.
She succeeds interim CFO Thomas Krywe, who will remain as an executive adviser to the company through April.
Engel was previously CFO at LeaseAccelerator, a provider of automated solutions for lease accounting and other services, from 2023 through 2024. She has almost two decades of experience as a CFO, and has held the top finance roles at Gannett and DallasNews, the company said.
Spire, based in Vienna, Va., is a global provider of space-based data, analytics and space services.
