Talga Group's (ASX:TLG) natural graphite mine in Sweden received strategic project status under the European Commission's Critical Raw Materials Act, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The designation provides benefits to the project, including improved financing access, enhanced appeal to partners, institutions, and customers, and expedited permitting, the filing said.
Shares rose more than 8% in midday trade Wednesday.
