S&P Global's nonexecutive Chairman, Richard Thornburgh, is retiring and will be succeeded by current board member Ian Livingston.
S&P Global on Tuesday said Thornburgh, who joined the New York credit-ratings company's board in 2011 and has been chairman since 2020, will leave when his current term expires at the annual shareholder meeting on May 7.
Livingston, who joined S&P Global's board in 2020, served as chief executive of U.K. telecommunications provider BT Group from 2008 to 2013 and as the U.K.'s minister for trade and investment from 2013 to 2015.
S&P Global said Gay Huey Evans and Robert Kelly, board members since 2022, also plan to retire from the board and won't stand for reelection at the annual meeting.
