Shares slumped 57%, with intraday trading volume of over 5.5 million against a daily average of about 292,000.
TransCode Therapeutics (RNAZ) said Sunday it agreed to sell 10.25 million shares and warrants to buy up to 10.25 million shares at $0.98 per share and warrant to raise some $10 million.
