Alector (ALEC) said Friday it has appointed Giacomo Salvadore as chief medical officer, starting April 25.
Salvadore joined the company in 2023 as senior vice president of clinical development, Alector said.
The company said Gary Romano has made the decision to step down from his role as chief medical officer. Romano will continue as an advisor following his transition.
