Huatai Securities' (HKG:6886, SHA:601688) attributable profit rose 20% to 15.4 billion yuan in 2024 from 12.8 billion yuan in 2023, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Earnings per share at the brokerage increased 22% to 1.62 yuan from 1.33 yuan. Analysts at Visible Alpha estimated EPS at 1.70 yuan.
Revenue inched up 3.9% to 54.3 billion yuan from 52.3 billion yuan. Visible Alpha analysts forecast revenue at 40.4 billion yuan.
The company declared a final dividend of 0.37 yuan per share, payable Aug. 31.
