Spartan Resources (ASX:SPR) is conducting in-fill drilling at the high-grade Pepper deposit at the Dalgaranga gold project in Western Australia to test variability within the high-grade zone following positive early metallurgical composite results, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
Intercepts reported from the firm's infill and extensional drilling at the deposit included 25.76 meters at 23.20 grams per tonne grade of gold from 597.66 meters downhole and 15.42 meters at 19.44 g/t grade of gold from 583.7 meters downhole, the filing said.
Assays from the maiden underground drilling campaign at the West Winds deposit of over 4,700 meters included an intercept of 21.93 meters at 1.74 g/t grade of gold from 332.5 meters downhole.
It mobilized a third diamond drill rig and a reverse circulation rig on-site in early March to conduct a surface drilling campaign, which will primarily target the Never Never North prospect, per the filing.
