Tolu Minerals (ASX:TOK) said the commissioning of the gravity gold recovery plant at Tolukuma gold mine in Papua New Guinea progressed with the production of first gold, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The plant was designed in conjunction with Appropriate Process Technologies in South Africa based on historical test work and operating parameters.
Hot commissioning with run of mine ore to assess the material flow, plant functionality, and effective performance is underway.
