HLB Hodgson Impey Cheng has stepped down as Synertone Communication's (HKG:1613) auditor effective Tuesday, a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.

The decision was due to the parties not reaching an agreement on the auditor's remuneration for the audit of the financial statements for the year ended March 31.
