Benz Mining Corp (ASX:BNZ) identified high-grade gold mineralization at the Glenburgh project in Western Australia following its maiden drilling program, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
Significant intercepts include 11 meters at 19.9 grams per tonne grade of gold from a depth of 274 meters, five meters at 10.2 grams per tonne grade of gold from 222 meters, and seven meters at 3.5 grams per tonne grade of gold from 233 meters, the filing said.
Assays from the remaining holes are expected by the end of the June quarter.
Benz Mining's shares rose 11% in recent trade.
