Siren Gold (ASX:SNG) said it submitted a mining permit application with New Zealand Petroleum and Minerals, based on a scoping study on the known mineral resource of Sams Creek gold project in New Zealand's South Island, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
Siren plans to continue exploring to further increase the global resource and it is planning additional infill drilling to increase the indicated resource category while the mining permit application is being considered, per the filing.
Its shares fell 3% on market close on Thursday.
