0425 GMT - Australian fuel refiners Ampol and Viva Energy both face pressure on refining margins as U.S. tariffs hit oil demand, Macquarie analysts warn. Downgrading both stocks to neutral from outperform, the investment bank's analysts tell clients in a note that the larger-than-anticipated trade tariffs raise risks to global growth and threaten demand for oil. They point out that a larger portion of previously forecast growth in oil demand had been petrochemicals-related. Macquarie cuts its target price for Ampol by 15% to A$23.70. The stock is down 7.7% at A$20.84. Their Viva target price falls 39% to A$1.70. Shares are down 9.0% at A$1.4375. (stuart.condie@wsj.com)
