Great Boulder Resources (ASX:GBR) said reverse circulation drilling at the Eaglehawk prospect in the Side Well gold project in Western Australia intersected high-grade gold mineralization, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The intercepts included three meters at 46.7 grams per tonne grade of gold from 139 meters, its highest-grade result to date, and two meters at 5.4 g/t grade of gold from 137 meters.
The new area of mineralization is an immediate target for follow-up in the next round of reverse circulation drilling, the firm's managing director, Andrew Paterson, said.
It is currently conducting an air core drilling program at the Eaglehawk prospect.
Its shares fell 3% in recent trading on Monday.
