Nio (HKG:9866, SGX:NIO) started laying off workers in Europe to slash its operational costs by 25% globally, Investing.com reported Friday, citing two internal sources.
Most of those laid off were from the design and research and development departments, with those laid off informed of the development during internal meetings on the same day, the report said.
