China Petroleum & Chemical Corp. or Sinopec (HKG:0386, SHA:600028) controlling shareholder China Petrochemical Corp. or Sinopec Group plans to increase its shareholding by between 2 billion yuan and 3 billion yuan.
Sinopec Group holds 69.35% of the listed company's shares, the filing said.
The petrochemical company's shares jumped 5% in Shanghai during Tuesday's afternoon trading.
