The US faces a new World Trade Organization complaint from China, which called Washington's latest tariffs "reckless" and warned they threaten global trade stability, Reuters reported Thursday.
The move comes as US President Donald Trump imposed 104% duties on Chinese goods Wednesday-prompting Beijing to retaliate with increased 84% tariffs on US imports, according to the report.
China accused the US of violating trade rules and undermining the multilateral system at a WTO meeting, while 20 other members voiced concerns over rising tariffs, Reuters wrote.
China's complaint follows an earlier WTO dispute request filed April 4. If unresolved within 60 days, China could request for adjudication, according to the report.
