BlackWall (ASX:BWF) said the closing price for Wotso Property (ASX:WOT) securities on its payment date on Tuesday was AU$0.48, resulting in a distribution ratio of one WOT security for every 19.2 BlackWall shares held as of the record date of March 11, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
In a Feb. 28 filing, BlackWall's board decided to distribute Wotso securities as part of its dividend. The in-specie dividend strategy would give its shareholders direct access to potential growth in the Wotso share price together with ongoing distributions received from Wotso, the firm had said at the time.
BlackWall's shares rose over 3% in recent trading on Wednesday, while Wotso Property's shares surged almost 15%.
