Asian Battery Metals (ASX:AZ9) said it had completed 830.7 meters of drilling across three holes at its Oval nickel-platinum group elements discovery in Mongolia, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The program is targeting "high-conductance plates" identified by downhole electromagnetic surveys completed in late 2024. Initial assay results are expected to be received in May, the filing said.
It engaged GAP Geophysics to conduct a SAMSON fixed loop electromagnetic survey in the second quarter.
Its shares fell 13% in recent trading on Wednesday.
