Boss Energy's (ASX:BOE) total uranium sales for the third quarter ended March 31 reached 268,000 pounds at an average price of $84 per pound, beating estimates of 218,000 pounds at $77 per pound, according to a Thursday note by Euroz Hartleys.
On Thursday, Euroz Hartleys said the production of 295,819 pounds of triuranium octoxide during the quarter was broadly in line with both company guidance and its estimate of 295,000 pounds.
The brokerage added that commissioning issues in the drying and packing circuit, flagged during a recent site visit, are being resolved.
Euroz noted that uranium tenor levels remained elevated at 108 milligrams per liter (mg/l) of triuranium octoxide for the March quarter, compared to 116 mg/l of triuranium octoxide in the December 2024 quarter.
The firm maintained Boss Energy's buy rating and its price target of AU$4.50.
