U.S. Revokes BP, Shell Licences for Venezuelan Gas Projects, FT Says

--President Trump's administration has revoked special licenses granted to BP and Shell to undertake gas projects in Venezuela, the Financial Times reports.

--The licences were for Shell's Dragon and BP's Cocuina-Manakin joint ventures, involving Trinidad and Tobago's National Gas Company and its government, the FT reports. The projects intended to transport Venezuelan gas to the Atlantic LNG plant on the Caribbean island, the FT adds.

-- Representatives of BP didn't immediately respond to a request for comment while Shell declined to comment, the FT reports.
