Polestar Automotive (PSNY) launched a campaign in April to attract Tesla (TSLA) owners in the US by offering up to $20,000 discount on the lease of its Polestar 3 vehicle.
On its website, the company said Polestar 3 leases are available with $15,000 clean vehicle incentive and Tesla owners who make the switch to Polestar will also get a $5,000 conquest bonus.
"We piloted a conquest campaign in late February. Based on the positive response, we ran a new campaign for the month of March. We are currently running a similar campaign for April," a Polestar spokesperson told Reuters.
The offer ends on April 30, Polestar said.
Shares of Polestar were down more than 8% in recent trading.
