Prabowo Set to Join Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Turkey

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to depart from Ankara to Antalya on Friday, April 11, 2025, to attend the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF). The international forum is set to be one of the important agenda points during President Prabowo's visit to Turkey.

"At around 11 o'clock Ankara time, Bapak Presiden will depart for Antalya. Beliau will attend the Antalya Diplomacy Forum," said Deputy of Protocol, Press, and Media of the Presidential Secretariat, Yusuf Permana, in an official statement on Thursday, April 10, 2025.

This year's Antalya Diplomacy Forum highlights diplomacy as a balancing force amidst the increasing global fragmentation. The forum is attended by world leaders, diplomats, and international figures from various parts of the world.

"The Antalya Diplomacy Forum this year aims for diplomacy to become a balancing force amid an increasingly fragmented world," said Yusuf.

President Prabowo is scheduled to attend the forum's opening session, where Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will deliver the main address. President Prabowo will also speak at a special session called ADF Talk, which gathers world leaders to exchange views on global issues.

Following the activities in Antalya, President Prabowo is scheduled to continue his overseas visit to Cairo, the Arab Republic of Egypt, to further the diplomatic agenda with strategic partner countries in the Middle East region.

"After the activities in Antalya, Bapak Presiden will continue his journey. Beliau will head to Cairo, Egypt," said Yusuf.
