Newmark Promotes Lou Alvarado to Newly Created COO Position

Newmark Group (NMRK) said late Tuesday it has promoted Lou Alvarado to be the new chief operating officer, starting immediately.

Alvarado has worked at Newmark since 2015 and has been chief revenue officer for the commercial real estate broker since 2018. Prior to joining Newmark, he was a regional president at Cushman & Wakefield (CWK) and a vice president for Travelers' (TVR) insurance subsidiary.

Chief operating officer is a new position at Newmark, the company said.
