--European Union antitrust watchdogs undertook an informal antitrust probe into whether Procter & Gamble attempted to prevent its products from moving freely between countries within the bloc at lower prices, Bloomberg reports, citing unnamed sources.
--No formal allegations have been made against P&G, and the company being asked for information doesn't presume any suggestion of guilt, according to Bloomberg.
--The EU's executive arm, the European Commission, declined to comment to Bloomberg, while P&G didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
