Jiumaojiu's (HKG:9922) same-store average daily sales declined in the first quarter due to business environment pressures, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

Song Hot Pot's restaurants' average daily sales fell 24% while self-operated Tai Er stores saw a 21% decline, and its Jiu Mao Jiu self-operated restaurants declined 19%, the filing said.

The average spending per customer of major brands stayed steady for two consecutive quarters, the filing said.

The company has 780 restaurants as of the first quarter.
